- Why not make your first date a group date? Arrange with other first daters or friends to join you at a wine tasting or similar activity. You will be less nervous and will most probably meet new friends too.
- If you do meet your date on your own, always meet in a public place and tell a friend where you are going and when you expect to be back. If you feel uneasy about the person you meet don’t be afraid to leave.
- If you’re first date isn’t the success you hoped it would be , don’t give up! It gave you the opportunity to practice your social skills and helped you to learn what you are looking for in a new partner.
